After warming up, runners, walkers and Nordic walkers from about 300 regional companies got set to take on the course – at a competitive or leisurely pace. More than 5,300 runners laced up their running shoes for the sixth company run sponsored by the Frankenpost newspaper. Their efforts were followed by a variety-filled show program, a buffet of culinary treats and the traditional after-run party. Despite the changing weather conditions, the sporting event served once again as a great way to end the week.
About the Frankenpost Company Run
The Frankenpost Company Run is not an athletic competition. In contrast to other events that focus on finishing times, it gives participants an opportunity to join their colleagues on a relaxed, non-pressure run. The main goals are to strengthen team spirit, to run with and not against someone and to have fun.
