New to the team: Raumedic welcomes trainees

Helmbrechts/Feuchtwangen – Ten young people started their professional future at Raumedic on September 1. Following an intensive orientation event, the trainees began their new phase of life in five professions.

“We are pleased that we have been able to attract motivated young employees again this year and inspire them to work in the exciting medical technology industry here in the region," says HR Manager Steffen Dörfler, who is the first contact person for the commercial trainees at the family-owned company in Helmbrechts. For the first time in the company's history, a prospective process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology has started his training at the Raumedic production site in Feuchtwangen.

Company-based training is very important to Raumedic. In recent years there has been a consistently high number of trainees taken on at the company. In 2021, all trainees and cooperative degree students will again be offered permanent employment. Raumedic is currently training a total of 31 apprentices and two cooperative degree students.

Applications for 2022 can already be submitted

The medical technology company intends to rely more on its own training to counter the shortage of skilled workers. Raumedic is already accepting applications for the coming training year. Applicants can choose from industrial-technical, technical and commercial professions.

They have decided on a career at Raumedic AG in Helmbrechts: Pablo Grünholz, Emre Atik (both process mechanics for plastics and rubber technology semi-finished products), Clarissa Pleil (industrial mechanic), Marie Turbanisch (European industrial clerk), Nico Berger (IT professional for system integration), Anton Greim (process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology semi-finished products), Alina Fronhöfer (European industrial clerk), Elias Diezel (electronics technician for industrial engineering) and Felix Reingruber (industrial mechanic).
