The 1,000th employee is Clarissa Pleil, 20 years old and from Wunsiedel, Germany. She started her apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic in September. "I always wanted to do something technical, which is why I chose a technical apprenticeship. I already knew Raumedic quite well from vacation work and an internship. That's why the choice for the company was not difficult."
Raumedic donates one euro for each employee to a charitable organization. Clarissa Pleil was asked to decide for which organization the amount should be donated and so the amount went to the Bund Naturschutz Bayern e.V., Kreisgruppe Hof.
Additional production site in Estonia
In addition to the planned expansions at the site in Helmbrechts and the expansion of the silicone production there, Raumedic has expanded its production by adding an Estonian assembly company. With the additional capacity in Tallinn, the company expects to be able to offer customers greater flexibility for assembled products.
