Raumedic welcomes trainees

Helmbrechts – Raumedic AG welcomed its career starters at the beginning of the training year. Eight future process mechanics for plastic/rubber technology and an industrial clerk began their careers in September at the medical technology company based in Helmbrechts.

The young employees had to forgo the traditional Welcome Day in July this year. The start of their training program was organized somewhat differently as a result. The new colleagues took part in a detailed orientation event on their first work day in spite of the restrictions that have been taken in response to the coronavirus pandemic. “Right now, we are going through a period of dramatic change that will have a major impact on the work world,” HR Director Christina Hechtfischer said. “Nonetheless, we will make the trainees’ start at our company as pleasant as possible.”

HR Manager Stefan Knaus-Bierbaum then provided the young people with insights into the culture of the medical technology producer. The HR manager noted that the career starters had a promising future at Raumedic. Ninety-five percent of trainees are taken on at the company. “Anyone who is reliable, enthusiastic and punctual and does well in the training program will have an excellent career opportunity at Raumedic,” Stefan Knaus-Bierbaum said before he sent the trainees off to the departments where they will work.
