Out and about to attract new talent

In the second week of May, universities were the center of attention for the Raumedic HR department. The company not only provided useful information on how students can successfully apply for a job, but also exhibited on campus at two Bavarian career fairs. Graduates from those universities who are now employed at Raumedic supported the HR team.

Series of talks in Hof and Bayreuth

“Especially the start of their working life can be rather difficult for graduates,” explains Christina Hechtfischer. Only those who know what counts during the application process are likely to land the jobs they desire, says Raumedic’s Head of Human Resources.

The students at the universities of Hof and Bayreuth received first-hand advice on May 8 when the HR expert gave talks on how to successfully apply for a job. Hechtfischer pointed out that applicants first need to be clear about their professional ambitions before looking for a specific position. And she stressed the great importance of carefully prepared application documents to make a good first impression. She also gave tips on how to behave at a job interview.

Exhibiting at job fairs

During two job fairs, future young professionals could find out more about the specific career perspectives that the medical technology company from Helmbrechts has to offer. The first fair took place at Hof University on May 9, the second two days later at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Amberg-Weiden. “We really appreciate these events as we like to get to know potential employees face-to-face,” explains Christina Hechtfischer and adds: “A lot of students are surprised by the many employment opportunities at Raumedic.”

The company has a variety of different vacancies: internships, employment as a working student, as well as entry-level positions. Therefore, students and graduates should regularly have a look at the career section of the company website.
