Bavaria’s Best Process Engineer comes from Helmbrechts

Daniel Kofer, Bavaria’s best process engineer for synthetic and rubber technology of this training year, was trained at RAUMEDIC.

As part of a ceremony at Banz Abbey, the best trainees in Bavaria who completed their training in 2011 were honoured. Daniel Kofer, the best Bavarian process engineer for synthetic and rubber technology of this training year, was trained at RAUMEDIC.

The selection of an apprenticed trade is one of the most long-range decisions a young person can make in their life. Therefore Daniel Kofer can be particularly pleased about the fact that he completed his training with a grade of 1.1, making him Bavaria’s best graduate in process technology and one of the best in Germany.

At the Banz Abbey, IHK Bayreuth Oberfranken held a ceremony for the best graduates from the administrative region. Wilhelm Wenning, Upper Franconia District President, congratulated the graduate on his success and praised the great efforts of the 9 “Bavarian Best” from Upper Franconia. The graduates’ excellent results are a sign of the high quality Upper Franconia enterprises provide in their training.

Daniel Kofer’s trainers are also delighted with his success. Both Tina Vogler, Training Supervisor at RAUMEDIC, and Norbert Worpitz, Training Supervisor within Process Engineering, believe that he has every right to be proud of this result.
Plant Manager Martin Schenkel also congratulated the successful process engineer and wished him the very best for his continued career at RAUMEDIC.

At RAUMEDIC, training is treated very seriously. As process engineers, employees have exciting duties such as extruding microtubes with the diameter of a human hair on state-of-the-art equipment. The varied and challenging range of duties includes installing, setting up and monitoring manufacturing facilities. The continual testing of new materials and processes as well as the detailed work on sophisticated products within the medical field make for a very interesting career.
The continuing education of employees is also an important topic for RAUMEDIC. This includes internal training as well as further education towards becoming a technician, a master craftsman or even a course of study.
