Job Description


  • Create workorders for production
  • Process daily production thru back flushing of raw materials and entering inventory into stock
  • Process work order closure and applying any scrap to the workorder
  • Support scheduling and planning by performing demand analysis
  • Backup for Master Scheduler/Production Mgr. when they are out of office
  • Provide various reports such as work order aging/volume of work orders closed in a month


  • Report on slow moving/nonmoving inventory for disposition
  • Analyze all scrap and inventory discrepancies for correction
  • Identify BOM inaccuracies contributing to inventory variances and request corrections
  • Maintain customer safety stock levels when applicable and ship when needed
  • Identify and monitor customer owned inventory
  • Work with Finance on ABC analysis for inventory items
  • Identify and collect any monetary recoveries from customer due to obsolescence, end of life programs, or lost business
  • Additional duties as required or assigned

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field of study. Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for year basis.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
