Insert Moulding and Overmoulding for Optimum Bonding of Materials

For overmoulding, we combine our expertise in extrusion and injection moulding in one module. This also produces optimum bonding of the individual components when glueing is not possible.

The overmoulding of moulded parts on to cannula made of metal and plastic allows high tensile loading and pressure sealing to be achieved. For very small moulded parts, handling is only made possible and bond strength achieved through direct overmoulding.

Our employees in the fields of extrusion and injection moulding are in constant contact to ensure their activities are synchronised. The aim is to optimally fulfil customised requirements like bonding and sealant properties for the modules. Test procedures are determined at an early stage and in consultation with the customer.
