Multimodal Neuromonitoring With Measuring Catheters

Reliable Measurement of Critical Parameters

NEUROVENT catheters are used during invasive neurosurgical procedures to reliably measure:

Multimodal neuromonitoring makes it possible to recognize the causes of cerebral damages. Changes in the parameters are quickly and accurately displayed on the neuromonitor and can be used to help guide therapy.

Extensive Product Portfolio

NEUROVENT catheters are used to monitor parenchyma, ventricular, and epidural ICP (intracranial pressure) measurements in the brain. The measurement can be obtained by connecting the catheter with a cable or with the telemetry system.

Due to the comprehensive RAUMEDIC product portfolio of NEUROVENT catheters, the precise catheter for every indication and for a variety of treatment methods is available. Furthermore, a single catheter combines up to three measuring functions: ICP (intracranial pressure), ICT (intracranial temperature), and ptiO2 (oxygen partial pressure).

In addition to the NEUROVENT catheters, the neurosurgical product portfolio also offers a wide range of accessories. Specialised accessories are used to quickly and accurately transfer the measured values to all commonly used patient monitors.

Advantages of NEUROVENT Catheters

  • All-in-one system: one catheter with up to three measuring functions
  • Simple and easy handling as users do not have to calibrate the catheter. NEUROVENT catheters are a 'plug-and-play' system
  • Time savings through the direct connection of the catheter to the patient monitor and immediate display of the ICP (intracranial pressure) and the temperature on the patient monitor
  • Accurate and stable measuring quality resulting in appropriate therapy
